Since its founding in 1987, Rex Hohlbein Architects has been designing custom homes that engage and excite clients interested in a rich architectural experience.

Rex Hohlbein (right) and Matthew Waddington (left), who joined the firm in 1995, are natives to the Northwest, care deeply for the environment, and enjoy immensely the work of doing residential architecture. They are personally committed to finding the design that is the "right fit" for each client.

The "right fit" is the core of their design process, marrying the client’s thoughts and feelings of “home” with each project’s unique challenges.
